Avian Anatomy Textbook and Colour Atlas 2nd Edition. The publication of the 2nd edition of the German Bird anatomy was met with great enthusiasm and success by students and practitioners. Extremely bright anatomical specimens and high quality color reproduction, were as well as the inclusion of Applied clinical anatomy in the training material. He, thus, had a long-standing desire of the authors, as well as from a scientific point of view, to make this book accessible to a wide audience in a version in English. Another motivation was thus draw attention to the existence of the German scientific publications in the area, which is dominated by the English language. among numerous scientific texts, the German edition is largely confined to parts of Europe, as relatively few guy scholars versed in German. This is unfortunate, because it means that the high quality of the work, published in the German language can not be found international resonance, purely because of the language, authorship. Therefore, we are more grateful 5th Publishing for inclusion Anatomy Bird in their international catalog, and we hope that as a result of worldwide distribution will capture the interest of readers in a wide range of educational and scientific contexts. Having only the English version, however, does not automatically mean that this goal will be achieved; It was fortunate for publishers and authors have found in Dr. Corinne Klupiec capable and technically competent counterpart for the translation of this book. Dr. Klupiec, who commanded the English and German languages, combines excellent disciplinary knowledge with the ability to integrate anatomical concepts and their clinical application in the educational context, also based on information from current literature.

Thanks to close cooperation between authors and translators, can be supplemented with a bibliography recent publications, to eliminate inconsistencies in the nomenclature and correct errors. This applies to clinical components of this preparatory educational text. As a result, therefore, is not only a direct translation, and intensively revised and updated version of the 2nd German edition.
